India’s travel restrictions for the upcoming Lunar New Year travel season: All you need to know

The country is planning to allow foreigners to travel on its domestic rail network from March 4-11.

However, the new rules will only allow people from abroad to travel within India for up to five days per week.

In a bid to keep travellers happy, India is also imposing restrictions on the use of private cars.

The ban on cars will be in place from March 11.

The government also plans to ban the use, maintenance and use of air conditioners in public buildings.

The restrictions are aimed at making the roads more congested and to prevent pollution from affecting public health.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) says India’s air quality is “very poor” and is one of the worst in the world.
