A baby is born with coronaviruses in Australia, but is not infected

A baby in Sydney is the first person in the country to be born with the coronavirus, and it’s not the only baby born with it in Australia.

A woman who was at the birth of her second child has been given a clean bill of health after being infected.

She told the ABC the baby was born with a rare type of coronavirium called CCR5 and the condition was expected to be diagnosed when she was 10 months old.

The mother had recently returned to Australia from overseas and her partner has also been infected.

The baby is currently in hospital and is expected to recover, but the mother will not be able to travel until her condition improves.

The ABC’s Dr Jennifer O’Connell reported that the first baby to be infected in Australia had been tested and found to have the virus.

The second baby is also in hospital but has been discharged.
