The Canadian government is planning to limit travel from the United States to Canada as part of the country’s annual COVID-19 campaign.
But travelers will not be able to travel on flights booked by American airlines.
The government will allow only domestic flights from the U.S. to Canada on Sunday, the day before the start of the pandemic, and the first flights will be from the Gulf Coast and from the Rocky Mountains.
Canadian travel officials said that will include flights between Calgary, Edmonton and Calgary, which will serve as hubs for travelers from the Western provinces and the Great Lakes states.
